Attention all low-brass musicians: The Chasons Hybrid Crossover Mouthpiece The Chasons Hybrid Crossover Mouthpiece is an incredible new component piece which gives any low brass player the means to effectively play on a trumpet, cornet or fluglehorn, without damaging his or her embouchure. The very shallow cup has a Bach size close to an 11 rim. At a gig or performance you can move from a low brass to a high brass for a specific tune (or for the whole show) and then back to your low brass without abnormal swelling. We have one optimal cup (top) with different screw in shanks. Each shank (or backbore) allows the low brass player to double on a different genre small brass horn. Al Cass invented the crossover mouthpiece and we believe we have improved it. Precision machined in the United States. The Special Top and the Trumpet & Cornet backbores are now available. The Flugelhorn Backbore will be available in September. Thanks for your interest. These pieces are quality machined right here in the U.S.A. If you purchase the three-piece combo now, we will give you a special price on the flugelhorn backbore when it come out in September 2010. The pictures are still of the raw brass prototypes. Within a few days I'll post pictures of the beautiful silvered mouthpieces. Remember all Chasons Music Products are
